My dad actually went to Texas Tech his freshman year and after the first winter, he came home to Alabama and went to Auburn, something about the winters were bad. I think he just wanted to come home.

Probably the closest place like Lubbock I have been to was Nocona TX.

I've been to Waco and you can have that shithole. I think the only place I would actually want to live in Texas is San Antonio or Galveston because of the coast.

my man.. i live 20 min from the coast.. i'm in galveston county. Still love Austin, it's changing like crazy but South Austin is still a gem.

Be nice to make travel to some UT/Auburn games..

i went to lubbock this past April.. I have family around those parts (Plainview, Odessa) and my daughter was thinking about attending there since it has a vet program (although it's in Amarillo). After about an hour of being there, she said no thanks lol. If someone likes a small college feel, def the place for you

I don't know how UConn could have done better actually.

I mean they could have taken a risk on an up-and-comer or someone in high school but if they were any good they would take off for another job.

Mora is a mature guy that knows the value of a job he wants and my guess is he just wants to be around the game and build something and isn't chasing hardware.
 
Dykes still a possibility for TCU. They've also apparently interviewed Tony Elliot and Billy Napier

Fort Worth Star Telegram had an article about Deion's possibility to TCU. Seems like that possibility has created a big split between LaDanian Tomlinson and several of the BMDs. LT and Prime are good friends and LT is on the selection committee. The BMDs think Deion's venture in Prime Prep Charter School has created too much bad baggage in DFW.
 
So is SC still down for Franklin? Because a few PSU fans I just talked to would happily help him pack.
