Jim Harbaugh is the coach of the year. It's funny you think because of what UofM has accomplished this season it erases all of JH's previous failures. He's still the most overrated & overhyped coach in CFB history. And still has a terrible record against all ranked teams.
How many years did it take JH to finally beat Ohio State? How many years did it take yer coach to finally win a division title & conference crown?
UofM was the better, more experienced & hungrier team this season. And this was one of Ohio State's youngest teams in a long time. Already looking forward to the rematch in Columbus next year. Hopefully JH doesn't chicken out again & have the game cancelled like he did last season.
Jim Harbaugh is the coach of the year.
Ryan day is sinking Ohio State.
Day is riding on a wave of talent thanks to Urban. His defense is getting worse. The offense is highly reliant on big plays and talent, not scheme. It's setting up for a massive letdown. The likelihood OSU hired 3 elite coaches in a row is very unlikely.Of course Day's sinking Ohio State in your little homeristic world. He should have been fired yesterday. What was it, about a 22 game conference winning streak for him? Yep bad coaches win that many games in a row in conference all the time.
And if would be funny if Fickell gets national COY over JH. No question yer idol will be conference COY though.

I think their recruiting has to drop first, which takes some time. But losing the #1 QB last week is a start. I think Day is on the verge of turning OSU into a very beatable team on the regular.I think it's safe to say that Urbs has been washed out of tOSU.
It took Oregon a few years to wash chip out too.
I don't expect tOSU to reach (4-8) levels, but I could see 8 and 9 win seasons. Just sayin'.

Look at their scoring defense and that's a big indicator of the decline:
2019: #1 in the B10
2020: #5 in the B10
2021: #7 in the B10
Helps to have 2-3 NFL WR's to bail you out."But losing the # 1 QB last week is a start"
Conference offensive POY / QB of the year / freshman POY CJ Stoud says hello.
** = you spelled hope wrong

The real question is, what will OSU fans do when he starts losing 2-3 regular season games every year?
The recruiting right now is still a product up the program Urban built. OSU recruiting won't ever be bad, but I think you'll see a dip once the reality that Day isn't "Urban but young" sets in.Of really? So you think CJ Stoud, Jackson Smith-Njigba & TreVeyon Henderson were all Meyer's recruits? Are you crazy? I agree about the D though, it's a mess.
And it's funny you think Ohio State will start losing 2-3 games a year because one of the youngest Buckeye teams in a while didn't take care of business.
So, what I hear you saying is, Michigan didn't get better, Ohio State got worse...works for me.I think their recruiting has to drop first, which takes some time. But losing the #1 QB last week is a start. I think Day is on the verge of turning OSU into a very beatable team on the regular.

If OK doesn't break the bank for Switzer this is a travestyDo you want Harbaugh to interview for Oklahoma?
Coach Switzer is an under appreciated geniusI don't buy into that as much as others.
If a coach can't get those players lined up right and play disciplined, they're not gonna win at elite level.
We have plenty of examples of teams that recruit great, but can't get it done on the field against lesser talent. Texas, USC, Florida, FSU, etc.
Switzer used to say "It's not so much the X's and O's, but the Jimmy's and Joe's".
This is a different era of football where both are equally important.
I say it time and time again. The pile of P5 coordinator and G5 HC carcasses that make the jump to
to big time P5 programs is deep.
