Oregon climbs the Kliff to get to the mountain top of college football.

So Kliff Kingsbury is going to leave the NFL team that he currently has sitting in 1st place to go coach Oregon because...?

It's said that Oregon is speaking with an NFL coach. My guess is it's either Rhule, Kliff, or Urban.

They should be kicking the tires on Bieniemy.. He has yet to get his shot in the NFL as a HC, this might be a good time for him to see how he does at Oregon. He can make atleast 5 mil a yr. And if he does eventually head back to the NFL as a HC, it means he must have done something right at Oregon.

Get some experience as the head guy and most likely get paid better than some current NFL coaches.

**also, Oregon doesn't have to worry about him leaving to his alma mater.. apparently he isn't wanted there at all**

Wouldn't be opposed to this, but I think he wants an NFL job

He does but he's not getting it. That's why if I were Oregon, I'd approach him. He seems to be a good OC (although Reid probably does most of the lifting still). You never know, he could be the next big thing with the chip on his shoulder. But he can sell Pat and the KC style of offense.

Again, why would Kliff leave a 1st place NFL team for Oregon (or any college job)?

I could possibly see Matt Rhule...he hasn't been fired, but word is that his seat has warmed considerably. Urban is in his first season, his seat doesn't appear to be very warm right now. The Jags might not try match an offer from Oregon, but it's also unlikely that they'll fire him after 1 season.

Also, there's still a good month left of the NFL season, plus playoffs. It seems that If they're talking to an NFL guy, he's likely either an ex-NFL coach or a Coordinator/Assistant.

He does, but it could be similar to Pete Carroll at USC. He had been fired twice and wasn't really getting offers. At least not to be a head coach. So, he goes to USC, has a ton of success and ends up getting the Seahawks to give him everything he wanted as a head coach.

I don't think Bieniemy has been fired, but he's also not getting any HC love either.
