Yep he was the hottest assistant coming off the superbowl.. did a couple interviews and everyone passed on him.. and look at the hires that have taken place.. he's not getting a chance soon.

THink he should bet on himself and take a gig like this

Chip won at Oregon with mediocre recruits sprinkled with some 4 and 5 star guys. This current roster is loaded with 4 star and 5 star recruits.

Oregon is purposefully making it look and sound this way as a complete FU to Miami and what they did. This is how you go about doing a coaching search and hiring.

UCLA can say no, it'll just look all that much worse when Chip leaves and comes back home
