Do any of you non Christians get offended when someone wishes you a Merry Christmas?

fwiw, i'm not arguing that Christmas is the most important holiday, mostly b/c i'm not interested in having that conversation. just agreeing that Christmas' (and yes, i think holiday parties essentially mean Christmas parties) economic impact is undeniable

I don't think anyone is really denying that Christmas is the OG of the end of year holidays...but it isn't inclusive to just say "merry Christmas" to everyone you come across.

Where does that end?

Can we say “Happy Thanksgiving” since not all cultures celebrate it? What about “Happy Fourth of July”? I mean someone could have British ancestors who died in the Revolutionary War. I mean if you’re worried about possibly offending someone, you really can’t say much of anything.

Thanksgiving isn't a religiously driven holiday.

and most people who celebrate non-Christmas holidays are doing so for true religious reasons...unlike most Christmas celebrators

I am not putting my religion over any one else, you asked if I thought Christmas was more important than the other holidays that are observed during this time and I answered yes - because I am Christian. If by that you interpret I don't think the others are important, you're just being an asshat.................as usual.
