There was some sarcasm in my statement, but I really don't give a shit anymore. We've had big recruits that we thought would amount to something and never do. We have big recruits that come for a year then transfer. We've had coaches that we thought would be good. Verduzco was supposed to be a QB whisperer and we had 4 years of mediocre QB play.

I don't care anymore. I don't want to hear about how well practice went during the week. Just fucking win.

It might be a good hire, I'm kind of wait and see about it. That said... It's pretty widely known down in Lincoln that the reason it took so long was because we couldn't reach an agreement with Knox (from Florida). He wanted too much money and he wants ST and RB. Also, we Petri from Chicago on the hook but he was too expensive as well. Applewhite is best for the money from what I understand...

Yea, not surprised, fell behind with injury and 2 guys cementing rolls as starters.
 
I'm already hyped for next season... at least for now, before we blow it against Northwestern and have another terrible season.
 
another offseason title. #1 every year. so ready to see it on the field. need the o-line to step up big time. losing their best player doesn't give me the most hope.

D-line needs to step up too, losing some of our best players there as well. Wiscy and Iowa are ready to run right through us if those guys can't step up either.
