Last movie you watched and rating (1-10)

Never even heard of that, and I can't tell from the trailer what the hell is even going on. Looks like someone said "lets make a mashup of Thanos + GoT + Ten Rings + Star Wars...oh and get some old ass actors to star in it".

And at about the 1 minute mark does that one chick call another an "emo bitch"?
I've never seen that, but Jackie Chan is a treasure.

Another in a line of Chinese nationalism/jingoism films. Not one of the better ones

Bad Batch -- 4

It was a bit of a train wreck.

Had access to 4K feeds and saw the latest Ghostbusters and Matrix.

Could have easily lived without either.

Movie genre popularity over time.

Just watched Yesterday over the weekend.

Interesting concept and pretty entertaining but glad I didn't drop any coin to see it at the theater.

I like that they actually pursued the SciFi aspect of the story (as lightly as they did) and not just ignore that aspect and make it a feel good musical tribute.

Not a GREAT movie, but enjoyable enough.

This multiverse shit is gonna be lit if they do end up doing all of this.

I am actually not a huge fan of this. JK has long been rumored for Reed Richards. Putting him in as Alt Rodgers would be too confusing, assuming he does actually get RR in the future. Kinda like Routh in the Arrow multi-verse (having him play both Supes and Atom)

A Million Little Pieces.

When I first put it on, I kept trying to remember why the title felt familiar, but couldn't quite place it. I kept thinking it was a book written by Wally Lamb or something.
The movie started out okay, but it felt... I just couldn't suspend disbelief. Something was just off. Then I remembered... it was that book that pissed Oprah off because it was sold as a memoir and it was super fabricated. That's how the movie felt, too. When it clicked in my brain that this was the movie based on that book, I couldn't shake it and finished watching (probably 70% left) with impatience and annoyance that I got suckered into watching it. The Mark Twain quote that flashed on the screen in the very beginning smacked me right in the face: 'I've lived through some terrible things in my life, some of which actually happened.” :tsk:

I get that movies (and books) are embellished, but the whole thing irritated me for some reason. Like, bro. We already know you're a liarpants. Why are you still telling this lie like it's the truth?

He saw Oprah get behind Jussie and figured it was his best chance to reconcile with her? :noidea:

It's more fun to see them and bitch about them to piss you off.

Or just lie about it like you would.
You are a rather odd person. When have I ever lied to you?

Kind of an indie flick, but we watched The Vast of Night yesterday. I really enjoyed it. Made the hairs stand up on the back of your neck.
