Yea, I know what you mean. I can see them getting a 3 seed in the NCAA and getting beat in the first round. Like ... their whole season sets up for that. LMAO.

Yeah like I said, they almost wanna lose a few of these. Otherwise its just bound to get them in March way too due.

Even the one loss to Nova was the one where they never really had the lead late. These back and forth trading leads in final 3 minutes ones, they legit have not lost.

Still not in a good way. But pulled it out.

D has been brutal lately. After 7 minutes of shitty Butler putting on a clinic. We got back to playing D(Butler O is really bad though) and finally got back to the 3/4 press(no idea why Shaka abandoned it recently).

While the D had been bad for a while now, the offense mostly had been good even if teams are stopping the pick and roll. We found other ways to score. Today, it was horrendous. But made enough plays to win.

Weird route to 10-7. But woulda taken that in a heartbeat in November. 2 left. Play for blood.

I think the only way they possibly miss is if they lose out. Although if they head into the BET at 18-12 they might need to win their 1st round game. Fading again for the 3rd year in a row.

I think 18-12 would have them forsure needing to win that first roudn game. Cause that game will be against a bad team. May still end up in Dayton, but think that would be the ceiling at 18-13

Yeah, you're probably right about that. Probably playing Georgetown or DePaul so that'd be a bad loss no matter what.

And while its always supposed to be about the body of work. You dont ever wanna let a bunch of Ls down the stretch cloud judgment. And the BE is good this year but has enough bad teams that you play twice, that a potential 8-12(including the BET loss) conference record would look really ugly.

Also, has not sure I've seen a player plateau as much as Paul Scruggs. Dude is older than half the Twolves roster and hasnt gotten any better in like 4 years.
 
We peaked on the 7 game winning streak just not that good.

Just an embarrassing second half effort.

Doesnt help that trash ass Terry wont miss for once in his life and Freeman liberty gets more foul calls than our entire team combined. But still, just a fucking horseshit game.

They did. But so did SJU with Mullens.

God this is fucked.

Root for a SHU loss which gives us the guranteed 5 seed bye but makes us play Uconn.

Root for a SHU win which would allow us to play Creighton if we beat SJU. But a loss to SJU has us playing Gtown in a absolutely cannot in any way help you game, and then has us still playing Uconn the next round.

Good lord.

Obviously at this point just win the game today vs SJU so we dont take another L. And then play whoever.
