My ex-BIL died last night from a heart attack. He was an OTR trucker for 35+ years and just made his last run at the end of February. He had just permitted a truck repair shop 2/28, set to open 4/1.

Nobody is guaranteed anything.

And, sorry for your loss, @Kburjr

Sorta watching the TV while my wife has Chicago Med on, high as fuck from a gummy.

I'm living my dream, breh.

RIP you NFL

Been a rough start to the year. My buddy’s dad died a few days ago while working on a utility trailer. Mid 50’s. Strong as an ox, in great shape. He died by himself, so they haven’t released him from the lab yet. Don’t even know what to say to my buddy, that was his best friend and just out of the blue and unexpected

Dang guys, so sorry for both of your losses. I know some others here have lost their parents and loved ones as well. The title of this is spot on, don't wait to enjoy life and don't waste it on petty bullshit. Hurry up and get on with living and enjoying the one life any of us will get.

Our thoughts and prayers are with both of y'all and your friends/families.

Damn kb, sorry to hear that. Hope your sister is doing ok.

The death of my ex-BIL is looming and it's going to take me to my knees. No exaggeration to say I love him like a brother. In final stages of hepatitis, bed-ridden and horribly addicted to opiates. It's on my mind constantly. Last time I was up, I saw him and I just sat there holding his hand crying like a mofo for about five mins. Was just yesterday we were young and on top of the world. Literally feels like it was last year.

Losing a loved one is a terrible experience. We need to appreciate them while they are alive because life is fragile. My thoughts and prayers go out to anyone that loses someone close to them. There are no words to describe how heart wrenching it is.

Been a lot of this going around. Got a call from my mom last night that my dad’s sister died yesterday. She had a decent run though. Sorry for your loss @Kburjr

Dang....Sorry KB. Thoughts and Prayers for everyone in your family still here still working through it.

Death is the single biggest part of life. Its unavoidable for anything that lives. If you think about your mortality often, you appreciate your days much more IMO. Whether you are chasing a dream, or just enjoying the sun on your face, you appreciate it more.

When you turn 50, go get a CT scan on your heart. If the veins are getting calcium deposits all over, you can do things to prevent a heart attack.

Being in shape or skinny or whatever has nothing to do with it.

Stick a camera up your butt as well. Better yet, have a doctor do it.
