I'll go ahead and say, I was highly critical of Freddie last postseason. I won't lie, I was fucking pissed at his performance in last season's NLDS.

But he's had an MVP caliber season this year and redeemed himself with the most clutch moment of his career today.
 
Bauer pitched an absolute gem today, there's no question about that, but Fried was pretty damn good himself. Fried had the same WAR as Bauer this season too, kinda thought it was lame that not many were talking about arguably the best pitching matchup of the first round, and everyone was just gushing over Bauer.

Fried didn't exactly match Bauer pitch for pitch, but he did trade 0's with him for 7 innings, and I got the player and inning wrong, but I did call a 1-0 walk off Braves win.

Bauer was salty as hell in the post game presser. He wanted to throw the offense under the bus so bad he couldn't stand it.

Did he have an injury or something that relegated him to the pen? I know he's been a reliever for a while now, but I remember when he was a highly rated starting pitcher prospect
 
Threw my weight around today and got on a piece of equipment. I probably won’t be able to post near as much, but I’ll at least be able to listen to the game. Tried to keep up on Gamecast and I got 3 texts that let me know we won yesterday before it registered on Gamecast

How much do you weigh?
 
I really haven’t minded the DH in the NL as much as I thought I would but yesterday’s game would have been amazing with No DH. Postseason baseball is so compelling in the NL, especially when a pitchers spot in the order comes up in a crucial moment and the manager has to decide whether to leave his Stud pitcher in or pull him to PH and hopefully score
