and look Ewers is a stud and all but my personal favorite TX QB in the '22 class is Connor Weigman. I hope that if he doesn't come to UT, he heads outside the Big12. Worried he would go to ou.. kid is underrated. Can't say I wouldn't be disappointed if he flipped, but past history isnt kind to these kids that change their minds multiple times
Im sure the quarterback whisper is already on it.and look Ewers is a stud and all but my personal favorite TX QB in the '22 class is Connor Weigman. I hope that if he doesn't come to UT, he heads outside the Big12. Worried he would go to ou.. kid is underrated.
He'll be better than Caleb, that's for sureIm sure the quarterback whisper is already on it.

Weigman is LEGIT.. sorry man, Caleb.. didn't look better than Drones

we are BACK!!I know man but its hard to believe you after you claimed texas was back!
So top QB’s in Texas ever go to Texas though? Not trying to be an ass but 2 years ago the NFL was littered with QB’s from Texas and none when to Texas except McCoy.and look Ewers is a stud and all but my personal favorite TX QB in the '22 class is Connor Weigman. Ever..uh yes. Card and Jackson (who portal'd to Utah) were the two top QB's in the 20 class. They had Jalen Milroe committed for the longest in the '21 class, til the new staff came in and Yurcich wasn't wanting him anymore. Texas will get a top QB, most likely Ewers, but they have had success taking good QBs from out of state as well (Casey Thompson and Cam Rising). So top QB’s in Texas ever go to Texas though? In other news.. all the TN players are coming out now.. another OT, LB, RB
Ewers threw a couple of picks in the state championship loss in the Dodge Bowl (aka Investment Portfolio Bowl) to Southlake Carroll.More likely that Ewers comes to Norman.
And McCoy wasn't really that highly rated coming out of a 2A high school. So top QB’s in Texas ever go to Texas though? Not trying to be an ass but 2 years ago the NFL was littered with QB’s from Texas and none when to Texas except McCoy.
Drew really wanted to go to Texas but Mackovic wanted Applewhite because he was a packaged deal with some other player he really wanted. Who knows how Brees would have fared with Simms coming a year later?Ewers threw a couple of picks in the state championship loss in the Dodge Bowl (aka Investment Portfolio Bowl) to Southlake Carroll.

Here is the best example example of Texas missing on QBs. (And not just the University of Texas. Every university in the state!)
Pretty sure there is only one high school that can claim TWO Super Bowl MVP as their alumni. Austin Westlake High School.
Drew Brees Westlake Class of '97 (Purdue) XLIV Super Bowl MVP
Nick Foles Westlake Class of '07 (Arizona) LII Super Bowl MVP
Both in UT's "back yard". And "just down the street" from A&M and Baylor. And only "a couple of blocks" from TCU.
Westlake HS to University of Texas 7-8 miles (depending on route)
Westlake HS to Texas A&M University 113 miles
Westlake HS to Baylor University 106 miles
Westlake HS to TCU 192 miles
I just remember there was a game Andrew Luck was playing against Drew Brees and some graphic came on that there were like 7 or 8 QB’s who played HS in Texas and none went to Texas.Ewers threw a couple of picks in the state championship loss in the Dodge Bowl (aka Investment Portfolio Bowl) to Southlake Carroll.

It's because we (Mack) viewed them as safetys?I just remember there was a game Andrew Luck was playing against Drew Brees and some graphic came on that there were like 7 or 8 QB’s who played HS in Texas and none went to Texas.
Richt viewed Cam Newton as a tight end and got on Deshaun Watson way too late in the gameIt's because we (Mack) viewed them as safetys?
