2020 NBA Playoffs

Does anybody else think Reggie Jackson looks high in this series with Mavericks? That is one strange lookin' fella. Not as strange as "Bo-Bob" (that's what my Mom calls Boban Marjanovic), but still odd.

He also picked them to win the series, he's sticking with his pick. Gotta give him credit.

Shaq, Kenny and Ernie busting on him about his "guarantees" has been hilarious.

I gotta say though, if the Lakers treat this game like it's won because Dame is out, they could get beat. CJ is still real good and if he can get some help from Nurkic and someone else, they could at least make it a much tougher game than it should be, if not win outright.

The Lakers need to come out with the same intensity as last game and let the Blazers know that there will be no upset.

I think LeBron will send a message to his team, finish the Blazers. The game could get ugly early for Portland.

It's tough to see sports being cancelled in protest- especially when you see all the burning, looting etc. going on in so many cities supposedly for protesting?
 
I don't see how the NBA season continues. The next season is supposed to start in 2 months. The NBA is still on round 1 that's wrapping up. Adam Silver has to be the biggest joke of a commissioner. Also, I think these NBA players were lying to themselves. Did they really think that the average person was really going to take their slogans on the back of their jerseys seriously?

I doubt the NBA players give a shit what the average person thinks about it.
 
Lakers and Clippers have decided that they aren't interested in participating in the playoffs. Wow.

NBA been said next season wasn't going to start until December at the earliest so not sure where you get this thought that next season is supposed to start in October. Silver is also pretty clearly the best commissioner in the 4 major sports

I hope they stick with a December start going forward. I think it would be great for the league.

But asking players to give up their summers with their families and kids might also be a pretty big ask.

Yeah, I think Silver does a really good job of giving the players a voice without letting "the lunatics run the asylum." Part of it is he looks at things more case by case than as a blanket rule.

For example, the kneeling. It's against league rules, but has suspended it while they are in the bubble due to the overall situation.
 
For Utah to come back, Mitchell has to take over.

Also, Murray hitting close to the % of pullup three he’s been hitting this series is the difference between him being top 30-50 player and a top 10-20.
 
Why does it feel like Denver and Utah have played 10 games already?
