2022 College Football Playoff Discussion Thread

Defending it means it can be taken. The years they were champs cant be taken (well except by the ncaa)

lol

I have seen you spew this dumbassery before and have yet to see another person agree with you.

Congrats on making OD look rational though. That's not easy to do.

well its a good thing i dont need others to validate me like a 13 year old girl.

1.) Neither Alabama nor Tennessee were as good as we thought they were.
2.) Ohio State's schedule is ludicrously weak.

Let's crown Georgia and cancel the playoffs this year.

Instead, you bring the debating skills of a 13 year old girl.
Are you really questioning someone's debating skills? I'm still waiting on where USC's offense is better than Tennessee's? You, yourself, acted like a 13 year old girl and ran away, once you had the facts staring you in the face.

you mean actual logic instead of just accepting the belief that college football is a defending champion?
new year new champion. no defending it just trying to win it again. win another. each year is a new race. utah beat Oregon in 2021. Utah was last seasons champion. they started out this season in good position to repeat as Pac 12 champion. they were the favorite to win in 2022. they werent picked to defend their 2021 championship because they cant lose that. they were picked to win the 2022 championship. different season, different championship.
this isnt MMA or boxing where you hand it over if you lose. they dont define those by a season or year. college football does.
i dont see how that doesnt make sense.

This discussion no longer includes Oregon...just saying

Only teams with a chance are Georgia, Michigan, TCU, Ohio State, and USC.

Georgia and Michigan are in no matter what.

TCU needs to win or have USC lose.

USC needs to win

Ohio State needs USC or TCU to lose.

Different seasons. They will always be 2021 champs. Nothing in this season changes that. They are in pursuit of another championship not trying to extend their championship
Can't wait for the graphics to come up around the CCG next week saying anything about Utah defending their title and for your 3 paged rebuttal to the network claiming outrage in their abuse of language norms.

Utah has a chance to remain the PAC champs, but USC looking like they may unseat them. What say you @OlyDuck ?
That if utah wins they will be back to back champs with a new trophy for the 22 season not just an extended run of their 21 championship.

Im sure there will be just as there will also be talks of can they repeat. And then all the back to back material if they do
