2022 Season Thread

Guess rules are different because of dirt. Briscoe is gonna get the win. Scoring stopped at the end of the stage and doesn’t resume until the last stage starts
 
They said at first that when the rain set in, it was here to stay, now they say rain is moving out and they’ll be back to racing soon

Stupid move by Briscoe. I get it, a win is a win. Think about the big picture. Chase going to feel real stupid if the difference between finishing 2nd points and finishing 22nd points is what keeps him from advancing to a playoff round.

At least Chase owned up to his mistake and apologized to Tyler. That would have been a great move on regular Bristol
 
Reddick needs to grow a spine. You don't have to fight Briscoe after that but you can't be "aww shucks. My fault. I guess I should have just drove better" either. Kid has talent but you aren't going to win at the Cup level with that attitude.
 
I liked Briscoe before last night. I bet on Reddick to win, but my main deal is consider who is running third before making a move like that. Those fans that waited out multiple rain delays didn’t deserve to have to see Kyle Busch back into a win(which he was crying about The Hack doing earlier this year)

It’s a little strange IMO. He wasn’t afraid of confrontation in the Busch Series. He and Cole Custer got into it.

But he had every right to be pissed
 
But as a guy that grew up around dirt tracks, modern stock cars have no business on dirt. Low weight, high horsepower makes for the best dirt track action.
 
And I missed it live, but what was the deal with Chase Elliott and Cody Ware?

Saw on Twitter that Ware tried to wreck Elliott under caution

I’m no Chase Elliott fan, but when a Rick Ware driver gets uppity, they need to be put in their place. Worst team in NASCAR trying to fuck with contenders. At least they only have two cars this year. It was ridiculous that they had 4 charters last season

Elliott couldnt get passed the 51 so he dumped him. I was on the 51's side on this one. Just because you are apart of the top teams doesnt mean you get a free pass dumping low budget teams. Those couple of positions mean a lot more to the low budget teams. Meant nothing to the 9 team. To me it was mere entitlement attitude.
