2022 Season Thread

Technically, he's right. If they followed their rules, Blaney is suppose to come in. But they make shit up as they go along. He's not really bitching about losing. He's more bitching about NASCAR and their dumbassery.

Stop defending that piece of shit. He was wrong. He’s a crybaby. End of story

Yeah, he's technically right, but he's also full of shit. In his post race interview, he said he's had the fastest car the last 4 weeks. Blaney straight up dominated the AS race, so idk what he's talking about.

Bottom line, nascar fucked up...
Even the broadcast booth couldn’t defend it. It was an exhibition race, but still. That hurts the legitimacy of the league when they do shit like that. They finally stopped with the phantom debris cautions, but shit like last night never needs to happen again

I’m still buzzed enough from last night that I hope the drug test van doesn’t show up this morning, but I can’t even think of anything from another sport to compare it to

Only thing I can really think of was last year’s F1 race in Belgium where it was raining too hard to race, but they made everyone wait for hours only to run a few pace laps and then call it official giving half points, and even awarding a fastest lap behind the pace car. All of this while the next week’s race was only a couple hundred miles away and the race could have easily been ran on Monday with no major logistical issues. Not like they were going to Singapore the next week

Wish they didn't do all-star races on Aero dependent tracks. Outside of some restarts. The racing sucks.

They should do the All Star race at North Wilkesboro. It's being resurfaced, updated all that. It's close enough to where all the teams can stay home just like they did when it was at Charlotte. And having it there gives the place something unique

It’ll have a Cup race by 2025.

F1 legend, Kimi Raikkonen is gonna race in the Cup Series at Watkins Glen for Trackhouse. I remember him making a truck and Busch start several years ago. Dude was my favorite F1 driver. He’s too old now to make a real impact on NASCAR, but had he jumped to NASCAR 10 years ago, he’d definitely outshine JPM

Racin' for freedom! Who's watching?

Watch for Reddick. Might be the only one to compete with the Toyotas tonight.

All's I got to drink is gin

Suarez looking fast

Suarez looking fast
If O’Ward would have held on to win at Indy, I would have bet a good chunk on Suarez. Would have been a shot for a Mexican driver to win all 3 races today with Sergio Perez winning at Monaco
