I’m saying if Northwestern, Wisconsin, and Nebraska all win out then it becomes a 3-team tie and the Wisconsin is the 3 seed. Yes, what you said is true if a 2 way tie between Nebraska and Wisconsin. We need either Minnesota to beat Northwestern or Purdue to beat Wisconsin
 
Both games went Nebraska's way tonight. Northwestern and Minnesota both lost.

Purdue will occupy the highest position.

Nebraska is (1-0) vs Purdue.
Northwestern is (1-1) vs Purdue,
Wisconsin is (1-1) vs Purdue.

(1-0) > (1-1)

Nebraska wins the tiebreaker against both Northwestern and Wisconsin.

The next tiebreaker would be for 4th and 5th position. That would be between Northwestern and Wisconsin.

That’s not the 1st tiebreaker. 1st tiebreaker is record between the teams that are tied. If those were equal then it would go to the 2nd tiebreaker you said which is record vs highest rank team.
