Recently found out that Kirby coached his dad when Kirby was just breaking into coaching, and Duce's dad is close with Stafford with Stafford hosting them in LA this past week. Looking food for us.

Again, if you follow recruiting - and I commend you if you don't ... it means you aren't a loser like me - you've seen this for years. They are excited to get the offers, especially from the big boys. They want to record history.

As @Thiefery points out, edits where they announce their top 10 or 15 schools is becoming more common, and more ridiculous.

I look at it as kids enjoying their moment in the spotlight ... have no problem with them bragging about it.

i don't think it's necessarily ridiculous.. you gotta remember these are teens.. let them be happy and get interactions..while increasing their followers. It doesn't bother the schools themselves just fans of rival schools who want their attention/signature.

247 Composite updated after all services - 247, ESPN, and Rivals - finalize their rankings.

SEC - 1-5, 8, 12, 13, 16 - sheesh.

UGA to add another 5* (Duce) and 4* (Lyons) TEs ... we will have the 1, 2, 7 and 10th ranked TEs in this class. Will put us at around 319.5

hearing Duce really like the UT baseball angle.. but his asking price of $350k while not really high..it may be for a kid who could end up in the MLB draft

Here is what I can glean from the message boards, 24 hours from NSD.

- It appears to be a UGA v. USC race right now.
- It appears he really wants to test the MLB/MiLB waters.
- He is stating that he might want to play both at the same time - that's not possible, but that is what he is saying.
- The Dawg sites still think that if he goes CFB, it will be UGA. BUT, they are inclined to think he won't sign on Wednesday, although he might commit.

I have tempered my expectations ... unless he balls out this spring in HS BB, odds are he goes CFB and I think that will be UGA. I have absolutely no facts to back that up, LOL. A lot of rumors, but zero facts.

yeah the UT 9.95ers said that the baseball angle isn't as a priority anymore. Apparently he bombed his workout for the dodgers a week ago.. They think UGA is clearly the front leader because of the success at that position.

It's so funny ... 4 years ago if you even mentioned TE on a UGA board, they would toast Richt/Kirby for misusing TEs. Hell, we may sign 4 of the top 10 TEs this class. Duce is more of a hybrid, will split out way more than a blocking TE. He's more of a Kyle Pitts TE.

I hope we land him ... nice cherry on top of a great class.

Most of the top guys have signed but we still have some big names out there.

Robinson
Harbor
Pleasant
Rashada

Robinson probably won't sign today. UGA leads but USC is pushing for him. Oregon and Texas are still trying but are behind.

Harbor - Sounds like it's South Carolina or Oregon. Oregon has some momentum right now after his OV but South Carolina has a very good chance as well.

Pleasant - Sounds like it's USC or Oregon. USC has had the momentum for a while but Oregon has a lot of recent buzz.

Rashada - ASU is in good position here.
