Mixing a blitz in here and there is good. If you are blitzing a lot -- you are leaving guys in man coverage against Ohio's WRs and that's exactly what they want

Yeah I was just thinking that. Please blitz often. Ohio State line actually holds up pretty well in those situations. Long enough for Smith or Egbuka to get open for huge gains

Texas still benefitted from quite a few drive killing penalties, some of them completely boneheaded (Henderson's and the OL who crushed the dude when forward progress was clearly stopped) Hopefully Ohio State doesn't do those things in the natty

Yeah. Those penalties were killing Ohio last night, but they were because they were getting beat up front by the Texas DL. Ohio got away with a HUGE no call on a 3rd and long conversion on their long TD in the 2nd half. #70 got beat and tackled the guy and they didn't flag him. So both teams got some calls and bounces go there way.

Sawyer has earned himself some money in the playoffs. He was invisible in the Michigan games when we play you guys, but he has found a different gear.

Donovan Jackson moved from LG to LT after Simmons and Michalski went out.

In the playoffs, he has allowed 1 pressure, 0 sacks and committed 0 penalties.

Nd has blitzed on 44% of their defensive snaps this yr. Golden believes in pressure and with all the injuries on the d line he’s manufactured it for most of the season. It’s extremely dangerous against the weapons Ohio state has but I don’t see him changing

Yeah. Everyone was worried about that move but the dude may have found his true position. He has faced some really good pass rushers in that time too.

Yeah I think he has almost cemented himself into the first round with these playoffs. 4.5 sacks and 7 PBUs. Love that dude so I'm really happy for him.

He did have the huge int towards the end of the Michigan that Ohio States offense squandered

I don’t remember many Auburn fans being happy about Bama winning the natty in 2017 after losing to Auburn in the Iron Bowl(Tyler Simmons wasn’t offsides when he blocked that punt in the NCG, but you know what I mean)

From what I remember before the NCG, both UGA and Bama fans were laughing at Auburn because they beat their two biggest rivals in the regular season then had to watch them both play in the NCG

VT wasn’t your rival. ohio state pretending like this isn’t gutting them is the exact reason why day continues to lose. It’s also why reporters continue to ask day about it. Dude is going to the national title game fielding questions about Michigan afterwords lol.
 
M&B managed to help me decide who to root for in this game so there's that. I don't do back the conference bullshit and I'm not real fond of either team.

Watching Michigan fans try to crap on the title will add something to the off season.
