nah he's set at Clemson.. But it was odd seeing him pivot so fast from y'all. He wanted to go OOS and the sell of Riley was big on him. Micah Hudson is going to commit to Texas Tech in the next few days.. maybe today. Big miss for UT but I get why he's going there.. he's a legacy and Joey is selling him on his new offense that will target him a lot.

This is the weakest DT class in Texas, that I can remember. It’s terrible. DB is loaded, but overall 2024 is a weak in-state crop.

yeah and we seem to be playing catch up on OOS bluechips along the DL.. I think Simmons ends up at LSU.. Right now it looks like we could just have January from the state at the DT position.

they did a terrific job with him.. he was a legacy kid that they pitched him on getting a lot of targets and being the face of their NIL campaigns.. Would have loved him in Austin, but WR recruiting I won't worry about under Sark.. what I am worrying about is closing on 5 star DL :(

It's really weird ... more and more teams are trying to wrap up the class by the end of summer, before the season. They have to hang on through the season to avoid the NIL, and hope not to have an underwhelming class. For example, UF could go 5-7 this year ... will they hold their class together if they do that? FSU is primed for a good year. If they win the ACC and get to the CFP will they explode?

I think the next 3 weeks leading up to HS fall camp is going to be a wild ride.

I hear you we always coming on strong late. DeMarco has a decision to make at running back. Looks like since the kid committed to Georgia backed out he can only now take 2 of Taylor Tatum(#1 rb in Country), Cadem Durham, or Xavier Robinson.

I like Durham the best of those three.. especially since he's all in with football unlike Tatum. However I feel Durham is more of a 3rd down back.. he can fly and seem to stress the defense on 3rd and 5 plus yards to go.

Durham is from oklahoma right?

We are taking 3 RB this year ... we are pushing for Frazier as the 3rd.

No Durham and Tatum are from Texas. Xavier Robinson is from Carl Albert HS in OKC. I like him the best of the 3 really.

I mean Durham grew up in OK and moved to Dallas (Duncanville).. He's visited Norman countless times from over a year ago.
