Fingers crossed this afternoon for OSU. All crystal balls still point to him being a Buckeye but Bama is right there.
Yep, he's really good. USC ... that's interesting. Keep in mind that unless he reclassifies, he's a 2026 guy. So, he's playing his Sophomore year right now. But he actually fits the generational player description. Glad to have him out of the SEC. UGA was not really in on him, unfortunately, even though he is from Georgia. You hear this a lot, but some of the board insiders were saying this was going to be a really big NIL play. I hate typing that, because I don't blame him ... get that money. But for now, we won't go all in on guys like that.100% expect a last minute "change of heart" to Bama. Considering how these have gone for us the last couple years.

Saw him play vs Langston. Solid, but he didn’t look generational to me. Probably threw like 30 passes and was around 170-180 passing yards with 1 TD. It’s one game, so take it with a grain of saltView attachment 105816
getting ready for the word "generational" to be used over and over with this kid
He has a pic of 3 Sooners on there.View attachment 105816

He's a sophomore and was going up against tOSU's Air Noland. Dude was a beast last year as a HS freshman.Saw him play vs Langston. Solid, but he didn’t look generational to me. We are a hat on the table for sure. There has been zero buzz on our boards or from our insiders in a long, long time. This is a Bama v. tSOU decision.Wrong guy, talking about Eddrick Houston

We seem to be a hat on the table a lot ... I think that's good, as it shows they want to show they had an offer from UGA.
Would be totally out of the blue for him to choose us. I am hoping for tOSU, so he is out of the SEC.
He never showed UGA any love. He was all tOSU for a long time.Well you should have a hat on the table for almost every in State kid.

Also, metro-Atlanta kids are more transitory. Their parents could have moved in from anywhere. North and South Georgia kids are different.I think kids move around a lot more now than they did back in the day. Just because a kid currently resides in a state does not mean he has any ties or allegiance to the major universities there. Especially with NIL now too those allegiances will be even more less existent.
