Riley somehow lost a big name .. but got a better QB..

I have no love for aggys outside @fordman84 , but i feel for them..they identified this kid early, secured his commitment and with 2 weeks til ESD, he flips...

This one has been expected for a while since we got AK Dear to commit.

@WhosYourDawggy earlier this past summer or late summer you were talking about if Texas was going to be a true contender, they had a ways to go as far as recruiting.. It's not done yet, but here's an update

I get it, we have Reed who is young and ONeil looks really good. Weigman will transfer out and Husan could start sooner at USC.

Wouldn't be hard to outbid us in NIL when the kid is 3rd string in year 1.

Oneil?? ehhhh.. book is still out on Reed.. Losing Huston hurts because he's a better Reed

Yeah I'm not a fan of Reed, he can't throw down field. Weigman is broken though, needs a new start. Yes, ONeil. He's been looking good in practice and got some snaps last night and did much better with our backups than Conner did with the starters.

Husan will be sad when we flip Jerome Myles. :)

not sure if it's real but on twitter.. an aggy account said that they better stay on top of Kelshaun.. apparently he and Huston were tight..SC was also a finalist for his commitment this past summer

Eh, it all ends up working out. If someone wants to chase a buddy then they weren't gonna be into it here anyways. I've coached long enough to know not to chase a kid once he starts wandering eyes.

If he's worried about other RBs in the class, he'd be making a strange choice to come to OSU.
I'd be interested to see stats on what ends up happening with kids who have a long term commitment that they flip late in the process. What I mean is do they take an approach of once they have flipped a week prior (ish) to signing do they view it as "who cares now" and end up flipping again on the day of signing? Is it all about being pursued, and once you flip that signals all schools to throw one last hail mary your way? Once you have pissed off the school you were connected to for a year plus is it easier to flip on the one you have been connected to for a week?

he feels he has a better shot there than he does with Dear being in Bama's class

That's a good question. I know with Turbo, OSU has been in strongly with him since earlier this summer, so I feel like the relationship is there, but he'd also be the third RB in our class so who knows where his head is right now.

Yes, my point was OSU has Bo Jackson, another top 5 RB in the class, along with another RB Isiah West. We also have James Peoples in the 2024 class who is likely the starter next year along with two other RBs already on the roster. There's also been some chatter about Judkins not being a lock for the draft, so if it's simply about competing with other guys OSU isn't the right spot.

You may lose out because of playing time. No way you get “outbid”. Y’all have more money than many Latin American countries like Peru!

Hello, UGA over here.

Seriously, he was at the UTjr game so likely somewhat of a visit high. It's a tOSU and UGA race at this point. We have 2 freshman RBs playing right now due to injuries. So PT can be had here. But, I thought tOSU had more PT in their room. That's sort of the feeling at Rivals.
