Reason I ask is it seems A&M has suddenly become very interested in him. Could be big bags coming his way.

no aggy was in on him early, but as soon as his main recruiter took back off to Florida ... it was over.. in fact that last weekend before the dead period, he went to UF to visit with him.. Gotta remember he visited aggy more than any other school

This is why I don't see any school or group of schools dominating the Big 12 year in and year out. There just isn't a lot of difference in them.

4 star WR Andrew Marsh out of Texas has committed to Michigan.

@Thiefery

FYI, the Dawg boards are all leaning Brooks to the all hat, no cattle team. Fuck you, very much!
I'll still be a little concerned since he's so close to Athens.. with another big Sr season coming up.. who knows.. maybe Kirby throws the kitchen sink?

That's a pretty big get for us at WR; a position we haven't been able to recruit very well lately given our extremely run-heavy scheme. Best WR since DPJ that we've got a commitment from (excluding Xavier Worthy who got bumped by admissions -- sigh)

We don't throw kitchen sinks at high school kids. Not Kirby's MO.

The B12 will clearly be the most competitive league from top to bottom. It will be interesting to see how that plays out in TV viewership - am I going to sit down for Kansas v. Arizona - and if there will be any no. 2 teams without 3 losses that will get into the CFP.

It will be interesting. But I seriously doubt TV viewership will be impressive unless one of two things happen.

If one team separates themselves from the rest and gets rated pretty high late in the season ala TCU in 2022., that could create a little viewership bump. I'll give TCU credit for being good enough to keep themselves "in" every game that season. That said, they had a little bit of a rabbit's foot in their pocket and won a bunch of real close games. So if one of the teams that are good enough to stay "in" every game and gets a little luck, that might create some good viewership numbers later in the season.

The other thing that might create a bump in viewership could be because so many of their games are close, they might get viewers to switch channels because the game they are watching is a boring blowout. But those numbers would depend on timing.

Because of the probably lack separation between the top and bottom, I think the Big 12 will be a one bid conference. Getting another will depend one of the better teams winning some of their clunker games.

I think I agree with you totally. I typically will watch other SEC games, and I might watch part of a tOSU game, and then some of the bigger B1G games. Being in NC, I watch some ACC games, too. I will watch some Colo games early to see Deon crash and burn, or not. Beyond that it will be interesting to see.

There’s a reason the Big 12 teams haven’t been sought after to join more lucrative conferences. And it has nothing to do with quality of athletic programs, academic quality, etc. Cold hard fact is none of them move the national viewership numbers enough to be desirable…and that’s what its ALL about.

Y’all sure you have some cash left in the OL fund? Kinda maxed that card out last season, right?
Not even close. Association of former students has an unlimited supply of cash to buy whatever we want. if we can pull off a 10 win season then watch out, not even Oregon will be able to outbid us.
