On another note:

The SEC Championship game will remain in Atlanta, Greg Sankey announced Thursday.

According to Sankey, the game will continue to be played in Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta through 2031, and there is a possibility for an extension through 2036. The agreement is an extension of the contract that would have expired in 2026.

Told you that game wouldn't be moved to Dallas.
2031 is also the last year of the big12-jerry world agreement too

Interesting. I actually talked to Ashton about his decommitting from OU to choose Oregon. wonder where he ends up now.
sam houston st

please sweet baby Jesus let Cam Ward or Will Howard come to OSU

Kind of depressing that kids I now know are making news for college commits and transfers.
if you really think about them.. can't say you are surprised.. especially for kids that go thousand plus miles away from home. Think that is the benefit for schools like SMU and TCU.. there will always be talented players wanting to get back home

Very true. It's just startling when you are reading news and recognize names. Thankfully so far it is mostly all good, or at least not bad, news.
