Stoops is the has the most wins of any coach in KY history. He is having the type career up there where the name the filed after you. He ain’t leaving that because he is way too smart and seen the other side of the business. Stoops is a guy who loves coaching and wouldn’t know what to do if he wasn’t so why leave where you are the top dog, have the support of everyone and make great money.

Stoops was never coming.

Stoops free ride of a joke schedule is ending. The dude made a living on beating weak teams. I don’t doubt we start to see a downturn in tuckys wins yearly. Next year they replace Miss State and Missouri and their random west opponent with Texas, Ole Miss and Auburn. He was going to get out while the getting was good.

i wouldn't worry about it unless it's because your OC or WR coach being an issue.. There's a lot of good WRs out there in the portal now

They just fired him but guys were jumping in before then. The timing makes it so I can’t tell if they didn’t like him or it’s a mutiny over the firing.

The problem was it was a very thin WR room to begin with because the prior WR coach did a shit recruiting job. We only had like 6 healthy receivers all year. We are apparently bringing in a couple of highly rated receivers but with this mass exodus it’s going to be the same shit next year. Inexperienced players forced into action.

And ND limits who it takes in the portal to mainly grad students. They hamstring themselves by not taking a lot of the underclass talent in the portal.

No idea. Most people think yes. He has a no contact order in the portal. I wouldn’t be surprised if Elko is getting the boosters and their checkbooks out to try and keep him.
