ACC Basketball

i think it is pretty obvious that the only reason why Boeheim is still around is so he can coach his kids

have to think there is a decent chance that he retires after this season

also that stupid Syracuse zone is why you should take NCAA tournament results with a grain of salt. Nothing matters unless you make the Final Four.

Let the procession begin.

Also lol. Clemson didn’t shoot a free throw until 12 minutes left in the game. It’s the same shit every time in that rinky dunk arena
Yep, fuck Dook.

that's a tough loss @wildturkey

I guess. But I've known they haven't been a good team for a couple months so its not like I'm sweating losses for tourney chances. If they win, great. If they don't, oh well.

Our last offensive possession was straight up trash though. A terribly designed 3 point shot in a tie game and you don't even use all of the clock. Take all the time and go inside. You either make it, miss it to go to OT or draw a foul for FTs to win. Just stupid decisions.

lmao, the Deacs broke UNC

Harry Giles played an entire season at Duke when he should have rested.

Maybe. Then again, he was selected to preseason watch lists for both the Naismith Trophy and Wooden Award.
He played in 26 games with six starts; part of Duke's first sub group 10 times.
He averaged 3.9 points and 3.8 rebounds in only 11.5 minutes per contest while shooting .577 from the floor.
He scored in double figures twice and had one double-double and led Duke in rebounding three times and ranked second on the team with 15 dunks.

He did miss the first 11 games of the season while working back from an offseason knee scope. I'd say that was a good period of rest.

he an ACL tear his senior year of HS. He then had knee surgery a month before the regular season began. He shouldn't have played at all.

not gonna lie though, i'm gonna lol @ myself for still being super salty about the entire Harry Giles saga

I know you are. But he made the right choice for himself to go to Duke. Who would go with Manning anywhere?

oh, he for sure made the right decision. Manning was a bum coach. I just don't think Giles should have played a second of college hoops after all the injuries he had accumulated between October 2015 and October 2016.

He played a limited role and minutes. But IMHO he had to play to get drafted. It worked.

That just isn't true.

He was listed fifth on NBADraft.net's board on October 31, 2016.

He was getting drafted in the first round regardless if he played or not.

That wasn't the thought at the time. He was relatively benched to a substitute role, thus his limited minutes.

jesus, NCSU is horrible
