ACC Basketball

🤞🏻🤞🏻Unfathomably bad timing.

His players should have a free pass to transfer where they want and play spring semester if they wish.
30 days I believe it is.

I’m praying Isaac McKneely comes home 🤞🏻

Curious if this is the only one

It's pretty interesting how they did the road trips.

I guess Stanford travels to the east coast on a Wednesday and then leaves on a Saturday. 4 times. So, they have 4 weeks essentially where they are away from home.

That's pretty brutal ... if you're an actual student.

Virginia OTOH only has to make one trip out to the west coast.

I wonder if Cal and Stanford are regretting this decision.

That's a pretty nice starting 5, with some nice talented pieces off the bench. That frontcourt is scary. Bilew coming off the bench is crazy depth.
sounds like Deacs are going to go with Sallis at PG. probably a condition on his return. if this is a season-long plan that they will refuse to deviate from that probably lowers Wake's ceiling.

Hmm. That's interesting. I don't know if that will work long term for Wake. He needs to be a scorer. I would assume Ty Laur Johnson is the best fit to be PG. If Sallis the PG does that mean someone like Cosby is the other starter with Hildreth?

Sounds like it's going to be Friedrichsen. Forbes says he wants to go 10 deep, so Johnson will definitely get a lot of minutes.

I dont know that it will definitely lower their chances. I also admit I dont know Sallis all around abilities that well only watching occasionally from afar and I also dont know Wakes other options but..

A guy that talented I think can handle double duty of being a PG and still being a scorer. Marquette is doing similar with Jones this year. Sallis last year didnt quite have Jones assist and TO rate and his usage was a little lower, but its all pretty comparable.

Sallis has so much natural talent I would not be shocked at all if he handles it well and Wake is better for it.

Clemson takes down powerhouse Charleston Southern. In all seriousness, I am concerned how this team will score once they face real teams. And we won't really see that until the Kentucky game.

This kid showed those Dookies what's up

Deacs have looked sloppy offensively during their first two games. Gotta step it up on Sunday

I don't really judge teams much in the opening weeks against cupcakes unless its a true dog fight start to finish/loss. So I think wake overall is going to be just fine.

Minor red flags though considering just how horrific Coppin State actually is. And also losing most of first half to At$T. But they will be fine. Sallis hasn't got cooking yet.

I go to all Wake home games.

They look like they have zero chemistry on offense. Would look a little better if they could hit their open threes.

Defense looks like fine but Coppin and A&T are brick City personified.

Lousiville was actually a favorite in that game vs Tenn somehow...

about to head to Greensboro for Wake/Michigan

c'mon DEACS

Gutsy win by Wake after getting down early. They still cant shoot for shit. Which makes it even more impressive to pull that one out

Very good early season resume win

Yeah, I think this will stay a Q1 victory the entire year. Both of these teams should make the tournament. I was a little higher on Wake than Michigan coming into the year, but I thought Michigan acquitted themselves well here.

B1G not off to a great start. 1-4 in notable OOC games thus far.
