Sadly, only Nebraska (5-4) has a better record than Washington (5-5) of Indiana's B1G opponents so far. Think about this, there are currently 7 B1G teams that are Bowl eligible. Indiana is one of them. The Hoosiers have not played ANY of the other 6! They will play the Buckeyes, so there is that, but it hasn't happened yet. However, not only do they miss Oregon and Penn State, they also miss the next tier of Illinois (6-3), Iowa (6-4) and Minnesota (6-4). I just cannot believe how awful their B1G schedule has been.

You clearly stated that the Committee was clear in what they valued in their initial poll. Don't make me go find that. But you said that ... what they clearly showed was that SOS mattered - they put 5 one-loss teams ahead of IU. Hopefully, that means they will look at SOS, and if UI loses to tOSU they will take that into consideration.
That is sad actually when beating a 5-5 team raises the SOS for a team. Kicked their arse by 5 whole points to boot.
Indiana also beat Washington from the B1G, and beat them by more. Again, they also have had the narrow wins vs mid-bad range G5s that WSU has had. They also have beaten numerous other teams from the B1G that would likely go 11-1 with WSU's schedule.
