Big 12 thread

I was aboard the Bridges bandwagon.. didn't understand why Herman didn't go after him harder.. it's like he stayed away from him, and Wease. Then i heard about the shit he was getting into at high school..

But I wouldn't sweat Bridges.. the guy that portal'd from Arkansas is pretty good himself. But I do think McGowan hurts
Well McGowan will be replaced with Eric Grey who is probably at least his equal.

Sucks sure but both have been replaced due to portal and truth be told by guys better.
If it gets us there, I'm sold.

Coaches worth their salt get more players game-time reps...as you're lucky to get two years out of an elite player these days. I don't mind the JUCO guys because you get those guys for two years 99% of the time. Grad xfers I personally don't care for. You're taking a scholly for one year for one guy with no future benefit past the one year. That dude better be E-L-I-T-E...and it better help us get "there".

It might be a very unpopular opinion, but I didn't care for Jalen Hurts. I think he used our program more as his own personal highlight reel than being a full "team guy". A good QB doesn't miss on that many RPOs where the handoff was the play. He would be keeping the ball way more often than he should have. This is where my dislike for grad xfers originates.

When you get pounded in the ass as often as the jayhawks do, stuff like that will fit.

Kinda like if you do 30 years in prison; when you get out you may not have a Cadillac but you'll have a place to park one.

Looks like Josh Heupel is still messing with Texas.

Former Texas linebacker Juwan Mitchell announced on Monday that he's transferring to Tennessee.

Mitchell started eight of 10 games for the Longhorns last season and led the team with 62 tackles.

A senior, Mitchell will be immediately eligible to play after the NCAA passed legislation last month to allow players to transfer without having to sit out a year of competition.

The addition of Mitchell could go a long way in negating the loss of former Vols linebacker Henry To'o To'o, who entered the transfer portal after leading the team in tackles last season.

Texas added senior linebacker and former five-star prospect Ben Davis from Alabama a week ago.

Tennessee, which hired Josh Heupel as its head coach in January, is scheduled to open the season against Bowling Green on Sept. 4.

Yeah, we just lost a guy a lot like that.
It was best.
Why did the rusty cows and land thieves even recruit a couple of guys like that? :noidea:

Eyes of Texas still not settled.

Students who give tours to incoming freshman refusing to do so, angry students brandishing guns in Zoom call.

They have that under control about as well as the Football program has it's shit together.

I'm playing the eyes of Texas on repeat from Dallas to Fayetville

Well this fucking sucks

That is terrible.

From the article:

"Authorities did not specify how they found him but did say his death is not considered suspicious. He was 20."

I thought that anyone dying at 20 years old was suspicious.

Feel bad for the family.

Me: pays no attention to women's softball. I know OSU is top 10 good and ou is like historically dominant right now but that's the depth of my knowledge.

Also me: Sees the Bedlam score and it's all I can do to not talk shit.
