Big East Basketball

Mother fuck

Think Lowery just tore his ACL.

That's a hit to the defensive bench depth this year. And a big hit for next years development

This is a crazy stat.

I still understand the ranking of Sears because of last year and being on bama. But fucking insane people listed Rj Davis and especially Caleb Love, Wade Taylor, LJ Cryer over Kam. Like beyond any actual statistical logic

LOL

To be fair, while he's bitching like a baby he's getting to the right conclusion.

He's not wrong about moving away from MTE's. If you cant get in a good one like Maui/Atlantis/Players(if it stays) there's little point to being in a MTE where you cant fully control who you play or how competent they may end up. Plus playing in near empty gyms and losing home/home revenue.

Kyle Neptune. Lifetime contract.

Good win, but as far as I can tell, Cincy isn't ranked based on anything of substance.

They were mediocre last year, they didn't get huge transfers, and their best player used to play for Butler

Let's take the W. League badly needs it. Cincy had juiced metrics so it matters.

Best Nova D has looked under Neptune. THey actually competed on that end

But yeah, all this talk about lukoscious shooting to start the year. He's a 4 year player, funny people ignored the first 3 cause he shot 70% against teams wearing helmets.

I think Cincy will end up as a Q1 win come the end of the year. Whether that matters is up to Nova to make it.

Matters for the league as a whole. Nova should be knocking on the door of being a q1 game on road now at least

Prov crushing overrated BYU too

Another big night

We are not winning in Ames and no chance DePaul is ready for this type of game yet, imo.

But it’s imperative Uconn and Creighton right their ships and win these home games. Both can.

Actually very happy with hanging around in Hilton when we didn't shoot well and they were scorching hot for a half. Were never winning that game but hung around

Maryland and Georgia keep looking legit. Really my only complaint with this season is Norman is a total zero and didn't get better at all. When Ross has a no show offensive game, Norman cant back it up.

THe great news. Lowery is just a knee sprain. Badly needed his D today. But he has a chance to be back by Dayton(out for Wisco) or soon after huge news. Parham and Owens are fantastic bench players with instant offense, no fear. If their D can catch up they will play more this year.

Uconn did their job. Creighton needs to hold on. And its good night for the league at least.

DePaul 9/21 on 3s
in the first half...

And obviously need Ross back fast after getting hurt part way through too

Pretty huge 4 wins for the league between last night and tonight.

You guys that know the Big East better than I do, help an old fart out here. How good is Xavier? Or how good are they supposed to be? They hadn't lost but one coming into last night.

I went to watch TCU/Xavier last night and left not knowing what the hell to think about either team. It is the fourth game I've seen TCU play this year. While this performance was better than their others I've seen, it wasn't too swift. IMO. I still don't think they are very good and expect them to finish at the bottom of the Big 12. (Every player on their team but one wasn't on the roster last year. Welcome to the world of NIL/transfer portal.)

IMO, they were/are supposed to be better than they have looked. I haven't been all that impressed by anything they've done this year. 6 of their 7 wins are Q3/Q4. And they've had some closer than expected wins among that group.

I know there's a lot of time left and Miller is a good coach, but if I had to put money it, I'd say they won't make the tournament. FWIW, I don't think TCU will either.

Thanks. I knew one of you guys would know. It looked like both teams have some talent but..... Xavier didn't look like it had much depth at all and was totally gassed at the end. TCU goes brain dead pretty frequently and I don't see a team in the Big 12 that will finish below them. They're good enough to have some good games and screw up someone's season. But that's about it.

Pop Isaacs out for the season. Damn. Huge loss for Creighton. At least Ashworth is back now, but that might be too much to overcome.

Guy drops 27 and they beat the #1 team in the country and they put him out for the season...

Kstate is kinda a joke

but good win for SJU just absolutely blasting them
