Instead of burning clock, up by 10 with about a minute to go, they were shooting and missing. They weren't even giving Penn St a chance to foul.

Then when Illinois needed to make foul shots they missed them.

I don’t think they would need better than that. But also highly doubt worse would work either.

Big Ten in the same boat as the Big East. Northwestern 10-6 in conference with win against Purdue should be in the field by a mile.

But weird numbers this year, MW taking up bids that usually go these conferences.

No that’s why I said as unlikely as it is haha.

But it’s also not insane with the way Gophs are playing.

Beat Nebraska bad at home with no Garcia. Even if Nebraska is elite at home. It’s a good personnel match up.

Northwestern has no Berry. Even if still a good team.

Illinois is more talented and a bad match up with big guards. But they seem to have no interest in playing defense. Which always leaves a chance
