Big Ten Basketball

Illinois brings the D like this every game look out

53-13 in the 2nd half is straight destruction

Good win in the Chi

That could be a costly loss for Sparty. They've had a pretty manageable B1G slate so far, all things considered, and they are now 2-4. With 2 losses at home already. 3 of the next 5 on the road, with a home game against Illinois. They could be 9-8 here real soon.

I honestly think they're finished as far as tourney hope goes . Still 2 with Iowa, 2 with Michigan , 1 with Illinois. I can't see them winning any of those. Home games with Nebraska and PSU are really the only 2 I think they're solid favorites in. If you go 2-5 in those 7 that's 4-9. They'd likely need to win 5 of the other 7 just to have a shot and only 2 of those 7 are in EL

It would require them improving quite a bit to make the tournament IMO. I just don't think you can lose at NW(even though they are decent) and at home against Purdue(even though they are decent as well) and still have a shot this year. They have the Duke win, which I think will end up as a Q1 win. But as of now they are 0-3 in Q1 games. And 2 of those were blowout losses. Would 9-11 in the B1G get them in? That'd put them 15-11 overall heading into the B1G tournament. 1-1 there and 16-12 might do it. I just don't think there's 7 wins left in the regular season.

Nice win by the bucks. Get the sweep on Rutgers and move well ahead of them for the tourney.

That loss to Iowa looks like it really crushed Rutgers. Theyve looked awful the last 2 games

Sweeping them doesn't necessarily mean they'd automatically get in ahead of rutgers if it came down to the two of them.

Good 1st half between Iowa and Minnesota. Gophers playing really well offensively. Wish we could not down some wide open shots. D is playing good, very active. Not sure if this is sustainable, but this is the best we've looked on the road by a mile. This is encouraging for when we don't play a top 10 team on the road. Lol.

Good games from Garza and JBo today . Workman like . I'll take it

19/7/14 with no turnovers . Hes been 1st team All B10 worthy the last few weeks
Yep, if he plays like that against Gonzaga I think Iowa wins

Iowa now leads the nation in assists AND assist to turnover ratio which is nearly impossible . It's never happened in CBB history .

Iowa just needed to rebound better and make some open 3s and they can compete with the Zags. I dont know if they win but it'll be close

Aware. Currently they are well ahead of them however.

Illinois continues to underwhelm. Took them -9.5. Fuckers

Can’t just show up and play. Maryland is scrappy. They wanted it more

They are quite the mess at times. When they are expected to win I would take the underdog.

Illinois hasn’t been ranked like this or expected to win for years. It’s new to them
