Brian Flores Is In Full Meltdown Mode

The guy is whining about discrimination and then hires white lawyers to represent him.
Saw that...:tsk:

Dude's going full Kaepernick. Professional victim is a lucrative deal these days.

I await the Netflix special. :rolleyes2:

Adam Shefter said the Houston Texans owner would be a hero if he hired Flores.

A hero with a shit-stirring, entitled, whinging bitch for a coach.

Sure, he has the title of OC, but is he really? Andy Reid is the one that always has the waffle house menu in his hands.
that and there's also his history of assaulting and threatening women.

NFL owners clearly don't care if players do that, but there's probably a different standard for coaches.

like it or not, the NFL does have a problem with racism. Their race norming program is one of the racist things you'll see a company do. with that said, Flores' is reaching really hard with some of his claims.

Flores claims that his refusal to tank in 2019 caused him to get fired in 2021. There aren't a lot of coaches out there that are going to get a fourth season without a single playoff berth.

It also sounds like the Dolphins had three finalists for the job, but they had an idea who they wanted to hire. Had nothing to do with race since the Dolphins had already fulfilled the Rooney rule requirements before Flores.

also his claim that this isn't just about football, this is about all of America and all industries tells me that he's in stage one of a grift.

Not really. Giants interviewed Leslie Frazier Jan 21, 6 days before they interviewed Flores. The texts from Belichick are supposedly from Jan 24. They had already satisfied the Rooney Rule.
Nope. The Rooney Rule was amended in 2020 to require two external minority candidates before filling the role. If they had only interviewed one and were interviewing Flores just to check the box for the second candidate after they had already made a hiring decision, they’ve got problems.

Yup, and his shotgun approach of suing anything NFL related tells me he is fishing for something.

My guess is he is thinking all that BLM money would be much easier than having to actually coach.

lmao, the NFL deserves all the shit that it gets

I just hope the scapegoat this time is the entire Giants organization. About time those fuckers got what was coming to them.

What is the chance that Josh McDaniels hires Flores to be his defensive coordinator?

So far this has been pretty predictable.

Flores is going to have a very difficult time proving racism beyond plausible deniability, but instead we have the same woke sports personalities saying the same buzzwords and airing their grievances and not one thing they say will win Flores a discrimination suit. This is why he was smart to attach the Ross tanking thing with this, because if there's anything that will get the NFL to give in it will be that.

I hate saying this because I always liked Flores but this feels like grandstanding with an extra layer that could be what gets him a payout. And the sad thing is there's still probably a lot of "good old boys club" feelings with NFL owners, but if this becomes a Kaepernick-like ploy for attention then forget about it.

where are my Brown fans... are there any????

Hue got paid to tank too.

And "Suck for Luck" was real, too
Hue Jackson, Jim Caldwell and Brian Flores.

The three most obvious systemic tank jobs (one of which directly cost one coach his job and another lost his not long after) all happening under black coaches. That could be completely coincidental but if they joined suit together it would be a massive image crisis for the NFL.

This is what sums it up for me. I’m good with this happening. Not because I care about the issues Flores is raising….but simply because it gives this crap league administration heat.

Kaep was ultimately offered two NFL contracts after his BS. Not sure a coach will get the same consideration.

People can make fun of Jerry all they want, but at least when he cheats (or even tinkers) it is because he wants more than anything to win.
