Bundesliga 2020/2021 Ongoing Thread

Bailed out by RL9.

Jonathan Tah what a gaff. The German pylon himself. Wow wow wow.

I have to say after a 1/2 season I really like ESPN+ and getting all the games.
It has been great. Every match at your fingertips, with Brits, English speaking Germans, and the occasional American calling them, is leaps and bounds better than when Fox Sports carried the BuLi.

As usual. Sane and Gnabry no help again.
FCB are in first to close out 2020 due to four players: Neuer, Lewandowski, Coman and Kimmich. I will give a shout out to Hernandez and Goretzka as well, but the first four have been the key men.

Agree but Muller also. 6 goals, 7 assists is that Mullers numbers? Was about to do my mid season ratings...but here we go. Opinions welcome. I am German, so I can be pretty harsh lol.

Lewandowski, Neuer - A+
Kimmich, Muller - A
Coman - A-
Goretza, Musiala - B+
Hernandez - B
Sule, Choupa-Moting, Richards - C+
Pavard - C
Davies, Boateng - C-
Gnabry, Alaba - D+
Tolisso, Sane, Sarr - D
Costa - D-

Others - N/A

Bayern have never lost in 27 games Hernandez started.

Sane is plain bad or no-show. Gnabry at least had a nice shot on goal.
You have to really suck to get subbed on and then off in same game. I never seen it watching Bayern. Sane/Gnabry are shit show of poor passes, bad touches, and especially horrendous decision making. Gnabry did show some life in the 2nd. Nice shot and only a great save prevented a goal. But look at Sane, he is replaced by a 17 year old, who immediately hits the post. I am telling you if Sane/Gnabry don't get their act together soon, it will be a front line of Muller, Coman, Musiala starting and Sane and Gnabry can park their asses on bench and play sub role until they figure things out.

I agree with your grades overall. Boateng and Hernandez might be a smidge higher on mine.

Hertha appear to be a flaming pile of garbage.

Wow that is harsh. I read in the article that Hansi doesn't like him. Recently he complained on the field about not getting good passes. But this is Bayern. They paid a lot for him. He is not on a junior contract like Musiala, and he is not better than Musiala. He is 24, if this keeps happening, he will be out in some place like Schalke or Hull City or Locomotiv Moscow in the near future, not a Bayern or Man City. Whatever it is, he has had issues with Low, Pep, and now Hansi.

Boateng I agree. Either he completely sucks in a game, or he is good. All his bad performances are in specific games. Hernandez is way better this year but at times has giveaways when he is pressed that is the B for me. You see I had Davies at C+? He was not good before the injury and not good after until yesterday when he was very good. He handled Bailey quite well overall.

I agree with your Davies sentiment. Watching him against Bailey yesterday was really entertaining. Bailey was clocked at a faster speed than Davies yesterday too.

Check out what my wife got me for Christmas:

I've noticed he seems to sulk/pout. He has all the talent in the world and hopefully this is just a hiccup. A player like Müller should (probably already has), and told him he has support here, but that he needs to get his shit together.

Nice gift. My wife doesn't pay attention to my Bayern. I got a big flag from Bayern European Champs I hang outside for UCL games. She acts like it is the leg lamp from Christmas Story movie.
She didn’t come up with the gift idea on her own. That would’ve been incredibly impressive if she did lol.
