Bundesliga 2022/2023

Tomorrow Bayern vs Viktoria Koln. Tel, Gravenberch, Mazaraui starting. Leipzig routed Teutonic today whoever they are.
I heard tomorrow Goretzka on bench. That leaves only Chopo out now.

One thing about Goosens, he has fallen down the depth chart at Germany after he got injured. He is definitely behind Raum now. Raum probably the starting left back for Germany at World Cup. Would you agree?
At this point, yeah I agree with that. If Raum stays healthy, job’s his to lose for Mannschaft.

Germany World Cup kits out today. Road kits look very much like Bayern UCL jerseys of the past. "Die Mannschaft" is inscribed on them or at least one of them. To be honest, I prefer the Euro 2021 kits.

They seem really ugly.

Augsburg striker Ricardo Pepi is set to be loaned to Groningen in the Eredivisie. His World Cup hopes now hanging by a thread. Last year, the next big thing, and now nearly a year without a goal. Mexico may end up being happy he didn't chose them.

I agree. I am disappointed. Nothing Germany about them.
Well I can think of a certain part of German history where the main colors were red and black, and started in Bavaria. ;)

The road kits are Bayern, so you are right there, it is Bavarian, but that is a lot of red. Home kits with the weird green stripe down the middle.

Here were the 2020 Euro home kits. Road kits sucked, but these were great. Got me a Kroos in this before he retired. One of their best ever.

Manchester City are closing in on the signing of Manuel Akanji from Borussia Dortmund. I guess it was to be expected with the Sule / Schlotterbeck signings.

Looking at Schlotterbeck, already the best center back in Bundesliga. I would say for Germany too. Here are his early season stats from ESPN in list of players who cannot get hurt for their teams:

The 22-year-old Schlotterbeck is big (6-3, 190), he's one of the best back-line passers in the league, and he has quickly learned what it means to play in Borussia Dortmund's high defensive line: He has already had to attempt 13 tackles (sixth in the league) and 17 ball clearances (12th), he has made 34 ball recoveries (fourth), and he has been involved in 52 duels (first among center backs).

Lol Nico Schulz

Bayern look like shit. Lucky they are not behind.

Koln goalie looks like Sommer so far.

Nice to see Goretzka today. He was moving well on that knee when he scored.
