Bundesliga 2022/2023

Unable to see this game this week. Not sure why. They usually have one or 2 Bundesliga games on SportsNet a week. Usually Bayern.

Too bad. Excellent first half. I liked his lineup with Chopo, Muller, Coman, Goretzka, Kimmich in the offensive roles. Add in Davies and they were dangerous for a 3-0 halftime lead. Second half we saw the likes Sane, Gnabry and as expected offense withered some. Stanisic looked good at right back. Union have very little offense. I will be surprised if they finish Top 4.

Davies seems to be playing up more? Involved in the attack more often?

Yes, Davies cut a lot into the middle which gave Union defense fits. Should have had an assist on a Muller shot that Muller botched early on. He botched a finish in the second half from Mane though himself I heard. I missed the 2nd half. Was very good on defense too. Overall a very solid game.
 
I guess I'm not aggressive enough in my pursuit to watch them every game. There probably is a way but it will cost me even more than the huge chunks of cash I spent on TV programming, cable and otherwise. I don't travel so I have to spend it on something.

I thought his service for Choupo last game was superb, they way he burst around the defender and ran away from him to serve up the perfect cross.

With his speed he should be involved like that more often. And he seems to be "hottish" right now.
 
Interesting looking at the stats of Musiala and Bellingham. Bellingham still ahead of Musiala in transfer market, but just barely. Musiala way better in shot accuracy. Musiala does a lot on his own. I still would rather have Musiala long term because offensively he is more gifted imo.

Leipzig vs Dortmund today. Huge game. Will Dortmund finally slip? If you look at Dortmund they seem to be for real. Winning a lot of 1-0 games. The Sule and Schlotterbeck pairing has worked out well after a shaky start, getting great goaltending, and an in form Brandt too this year. Adeyemi out now though. Tore his hamstring. Nkunku back for Leipzig now too. Should be fun.

Usually the Friday games are clunkers. UCL this week. I know Bayern plays on the 8th but not sure about Dortmund or Leipzig if they are playing this week. If so, extra day of rest for them. You see Sane injured? Probably out for a few weeks. Oh well. He probably would not start anyways. The best lineup for now is the Union Berlin lineup Nags used. Tomorrow I will miss the game. Lowly Stuttgart. Hopefully they won't stumble.
 
Dortmund looks great. Superb long balls. This team is going to be tough to beat.
