I wonder if Nagelsmann keeps his job if he loses the Bundesliga and gets pounded in the UCL.
 
Games like this are a habit now. They can’t score consistently anymore except Chopo. How many games they only score once? Time to sell a few of these underachievers.

Alonso totally outclassed him today. No matter what Nags did it didn't work. It didn't help that the players were sloppy and undisciplined. How many times did Leverkusen go around Kimmich and Goretza like pylons? Arsenal interested in Goretzka. I would sell him. Gnabry too. You see Sane did not make the German team? Upa takes way too many risks. He is a walking penalty and red card. Pavard was lucky he did not get a second yellow and red today too. No excuse for all this high priced talent to be this bad.

Goretzka to Arsenal eh? I would try to gouge Arsenal on the fee.

You know who looked like our best player on the second half (not saying much)? Sane.

I agree. Sane created all the chances and worked the hardest in the 2nd half. At this point just finish in Top 4 and we’ll see what happens next season with a new team … hopefully.

Not as bad as feared. Two weeks or so. Will miss the Dormund game but should return after. The problem is every other offensive player so unreliable. They could score 4 against Dortmund or 1 or 0. Sane, Mane, Coman, and Gnabry just not consistent enough. Clearly none of them (not including Mane since it is his first season) have replaced Ribery and Robben and still searching for Lahm replacement too. We had that one but Kimmich wants to play midfield. You watch Kimmich yesterday, he is slow to react to Sommer clearances alot and get overwhelmed. How many times have we seen that? Press Bayern and they panic. Player or coaching issue or both?

Bayern need a striker like this even though they signed Chopo. Kane is one of the 3 best in the world if you include his holdup play too. Bayern DNA is a striker. None yesterday and see what happens? Mane laughable at hold up play.

Real Madrid would be interesting. Benzema is starting to age out with some injuries this season.

I bet Bayern cries poor even though they have several players they can sell and so far this year their UCL proceeds have been around $70MM if I recall correctly just from this year's group stage! They could've afforded Haaland if they wanted him too.
