Go back to the Bowl games and get rid of the playoff system. I watch football for entertainment and not to watch crap like I saw yesterday.

No doubt about that. Hence 'Upset Saturdays'.

Trying to keep a bunch of 18 - 22 year old's heads out of the clouds and focused week after week is difficult even for a Saban.
There are a lot of outside distractions for these kids on campus.
In many cases success leads to complacency.
There are also 'Trap Games' where a team overlooks a weaker opponents looking ahead to the following week.

Um, under the old bowl system you likely end up with those same games and then no rematch to determine who is #1.

It isn't the CFP at fault for your lack of enjoyment. It is the current college football landscape that has 90% of the top talent going to 3-4 teams. This year only 2 of them put it together enough to dominate with that talent.

This is why I don't enjoy the playoff format.

I turned off the Michigan/Georgia game at halftime and watched the new James Bond movie so my evening wasn't a complete waste of time.
