Dude, quit being obtuse. Sure, I said that there, but I wasn't defending or advocating for Bama to be the tallest. I dont' care. Hell, I don't want Bama in. I was, one more fucking time, pointing out that you have to have a 12th and when you get to that level you are going to have flawed teams. You see which team is the least flawed. You are really making this difficult.
 
You don't even have to go that far. Look at the conferences that were on the verge of imploding, having members trying to leave along with court cases, adding members from across the continent that really added no depth (in football anyways). And if you didn't know, I haven't seen any team trying to leave the B1G or SEC.

Miami and Bama are about equally flawed, at that point the tie should absolutely be overall record.

Again, I don't really care how they do it. The point I am trying to make is that once you get to a group of 4 teams all fighting for that last spot, no one cares who gets in or not (outside those teams). All have flaws that allow them to be excluded. Any of those 4 could have been selected and the other 3 have too many flaws to argue. Hell, I'd rather Bama NOT be in ... it's not exactly like we play them well when we play them.

The problem with that argument is that in a 12 teams tournament you have to have, checks notes, 12 teams. Can't kick it off with 11. So you have to determine who the tallest midget is and put them in.
 
The 12 team playoff has to have 12 teams. If SMU wins their has to be a 12th team chosen from amongst 4 very flawed team. People don’t like it but of the 4 teams to choose from, Alabama is the tallest Midget. They have the best SOS,SOR, Most ranked wins, Most wins vs teams .500 or better, best opponent winning percentage.

Sure they have 2 bad losses but when their or 7 or 8 criteria checkpoints and Alabama only loses 1 of them…..they are the best choice

I don't worry about Bama falling backwards in and winning the title without Saban, it's just annoying they are gonna make it with 3 losses and 2 of those losses coming to 6-6 teams

Yep. Plenty of teams with only 1 or 2 losses, even after the CCG's tomorrow. Don't wanna hear about eye tests or strength of schedule. Wins have to count for something.
