It's springtime across the Plains. This outbreak reminds me of May 6-7th 1975. We lost our house in that one.

I don't mean to be unsympathetic to those who got hit by the last round, but that big tornado scraped the outer edge of Omaha. It was mainly new homes/neighborhoods under construction. Still a lot of farm ground out there.

Another mile or two to the east and it would have carved a horrible path South/North through Omaha.

The vast majority of the tornadoes were out in rural areas.

Tornado ripped through Cordell, OK last night. Oklahoma will be under the gun yet again this evening. Not even May yet!
