Daily Trivia

Hes actually played for 5......
He was also a Royal and now a Texan......js

Sorry Mascot GIF by Houston Texans

Who was the last player to play for three different pennant winning teams in three consecutive seasons.

Hint, all three teams were in the same division

If the Rangers win tonight, Will Smith will take the crown
When the World Series starts, Will Smith will be the latest, but we’re obviously still looking for the most recent prior to this season.

Hints are there

Played in 3 consecutive World Series for 3 different teams, every team in the same division, it happened in the 21st century and the streak ended when the Braves lost in the NLDS.

Just gotta think of what 3 different teams from the same division made the WS in back to back to back seasons since 2000

To narrow the time frame down even more, Bobby Cox was still managing the Braves when the streak ended for the player

Would the other two teams be Miami and Washington.....??

Im not sure about Washington tho.....

Miami hasn’t been to the WS since 2003. Nationals only World Series appearance was in 2019. Player wasn’t on the Braves during the streak, he was with the Braves when his streak ended.

There’s only one division that has had three different teams make the World Series in three straight seasons in the time frame. I’m expecting you to know every WS matchup this century.

I’m not helping any more than that

So if it was not Miami nor Washington,so that leaves NYM-Phi and Atl....

Was it a relef pitcher......??

Buddy, I just said the Braves weren’t one of the team he played for during the streak, he played for the Braves the next season.

Colorado, LA and SF?
Nope, but he did play against Colorado in their lone WS appearance. That should give everyone the teams. The teams were not expected to be this big of an issue

If it's who I think it is I used to have his jersey before it was stolen from a storage locker.

Could be. There’s only one other hint I could give and I feel like it would give the answer away

I'm guessing that your hint was going to be an award?

Another hint could be that he actually played for a fourth team in the same division prior to his 3 year World Series run.

So Im asking " did this player play for those respective WS teams in the American League" before he became a Brave......
The one hint you said he played vs Colorado in their lone WS......which I think was the RedSox(but I maybe wrong).....

Being he won an award,is it cheating by looking at the awards given out.....?.....lol

I can tell you that the award he won was well before he ever appeared in a World Series and wasn’t with any of the teams involved

With the hints given, you should have the teams down by now

So then its not the WS MVP then......(thats what I was actually thinking)

Red Sox is one of the teams.......
Most likely the Yankees one of them......

So that leaves Baltimore,TB and Toronto.....

I dont remember Baltimore winning a WS in a very vety long time, probably since the 70s with Earl Weaver or 80s Cal Sr..led team.........

I dont remember Toronto winning a WS either since the early 90s Joe Carter hr......but may have.

And I bellieve TB did it early in the 2000s.....

So my guess for the 3 teams are( maybe not in order tho)
NYY
Boston
TB

Even if the teams are right,Ill never figure it out the way playets change teams so often.....
But it does have to be someone of significance to be able to win an award........

So Im gonna give up.......
