Favorite Restaurant Chains

Like many, it was fucking great when it first opened.

Popularity and expansion ruins em' all.
If you dine in, and you can convince the waiter/chef to make you pepper steak medium rare (it's not easy to convince them), it's really fucking good.

of the quick service mexican places it has the best burrito. There's a Blue Coast closer to me, but that place sucks. Both the Qdoba and Salsaritas close to me closed. My favorite back in RTP was Cosmic Cantina near Duke. Place was a fucking dump, but they could make a kick ass burrito the size of your forearm for like $6.
I think I like Moe's better than Chipotle, but I'm not sure.

the fuck kind of sad thread is this? what are your favorite chain restaurants?

so, you live in an area with no good mom and pop joints? you travel a lot and don't ask the locals about the mom and pop shops? You trying to keep malls alive?
I've been burned plenty of times playing that game.

People are fucking retarded.

I really don't really eat at too many chains unless I'm traveling and I haven't been doing much of that for the last year and a half.

Only local chains that I go to are Fleming's and Chang's, but it's not all that frequent.

I haven't been to an Outback Steakhouse in years, but I've been tempted recently. I'm pretty sure I'd be disappointed, which is why I haven't.

Exactly.

Only someone accustomed to eating shitty wings would say something like that.
admittedly i do tend to make wings more often than i get them at restaurants here due to the quality/style, but i figure it was just an issue with my current locale.

It’s like they all have the same meeting:

”We went to Location A and this dish was prepared differently than they do at Location B. How about we make the dish for all locations in one spot, freeze it and they just warm it up when a customer orders it?”

”But won’t that make the food suck”

”Maybe, but it’ll be consistent and most people won’t care that it sucks. It’ll be cheaper, too”

”Genius”

Qdoba is good. Chipotle puts soap in virtually every ingredient.

Actually my body evolved to detect poisonous plants.
Don't you fucking start.

I totally forgot there's a Moes close to me. It's practically across the street from Chipotle and I haven't been there isn't Chipotle opened.
