As far a a chain goes, I'd go with Grandy's. I know it a regional chain, but I liked it. The last 2 in OKC have gone away.
They had a great breakfast.

A local chain I loved that went away for some reason was Neptune's Submarine Sandwiches.
The only one left is too far, closes as sundown, only open M-F, so I never get it. Used to be 20 in the City area.

I liked the Roy Rogers Restaurants too.
The Double R Burger, double branded

I liked the Club Sandwich
One day it's there
The next day they are gone.

Rax, which was basically a better version of Arbys

That looks like Drive Thru only.
Yep. All of them were drive thru only. Some had windows on both sides of the building. And some(most maybe?) had walk up in the front.

A few were repurposed into Checkers/Rally’s after the chain failed. Very similar concepts. I’ve seen a few that are now coffee places or ice cream.

There are still a few stragglers here. But not many.
Was just about to update that to say it looks like they still exist, 'specially in yer neck of the woods.

They surprisingly have a shit ton of locations still apparently (especially internationally).

This place sold their chocolate cake at grocery stores, it was that good.

We used to call it “Heavens waiting room.” Think the chain died because most of their customers did too.
