TV Series Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon

Watched the first episode. Is the young white haired girl and the other girl Lez Beaux’s
I got that sense as well, but the Princess seemed to have eyes for the Dorn knight, so I am not sure that was really there ore not.

They are likely both fluid.

In the book, both Rhaenyra and Alicent are straight. Whether the TV producers are going to do something different, guess we'll find out.

Dipstick. There’s a whole seperate thread explicitly made for book readers.

And here comes the woke talk.

I’ll take it on merit that Corlys Velayron isn’t explicitly mentioned as black in the books, but here he is in the show. That would certainly be a case of diversity signaling and getting the woke mob off of them.

Above and beyond that….let’s not get crazy until we see undeniable proof. I didn’t watch Rhaenyra and Alicent and think lex beaux at all. I won’t say I’ll be surprised if it goes that way, but it will be a bit much to me.

Make a character black….fine. Beyond that I will trigger on the wokeness. Until then…it’s a show being made in the present day.

If the show wants to get those two girls in a sex scene together then I have no complaints.

Isn't that chicks character supposed to be like 12 years old or something like that?

@fbi

Actress is 30 years old.
I think you are looking at the actress for the older version of the character (in the pilot, we only heard her voice, but she will be on screen soon, I think). The actress of the younger version (Milly Alcott) is 22.

But as I mentioned somewhere, if the character is a minor, Pedo laws still apply regardless of the age of the actor.

They're House Velaryon. In the books, they are actually the closest-related house to House Targaryen and thus look like House Targaryen (silver hair, purple eyes, pale skin) and are not black.
I am aware. I was just saying the fake white hair looks bad on a large portion of the actors on the show. Particularly Matt Smith and the black Valyrians.

What’s this? Didn’t they have some underage action in the original series?

I rewatched some of the first episode, and I think Matt’s looks well applied. I don’t see issues. But I don’t know how he normally looks.

Pretty sure a lot of people freaked out when they needlessly threw in Arya getting banged.

Well before that it was Dany on her wedding day. Didn’t Sansa get some too? There was at least one brothel kid. Pretty sure most of the stark men got some action pre-18.

Why would that matter if the actress is an adult? What is this “pedo laws still apply” that you were talking about?
If the character is, let’s say, 12, but the actor/actress is 19, they still can’t show nudity. Sexually suggestive scenes, I am not certain about.

Just guessing, but maybe even though the characters Arya and Sansa may have been underage, they had been on screen for years and didn’t look underage in any way. Maybe there is a “common sense” clause in situations like that. Them being underage was not part of the narrative of the scene, and since they didn’t LOOK underage, it isn’t an issue.

I am no lawyer, so I can’t defend the minutia of the law, but I am 95% certain that something like it exists.

I'm guessing thats not the case. Euphoria is all high schoolers and they show a shit ton of nudity and sex.

can't say i cared about any of the characters after the first episode. we'll see if that continues. plus I find Matt Smith annoying, looks like Vigo the Carpathian mid transformation.

Holy crap I kept thinking "this guy looks familiar" and I'll be damned if that isn't exactly what was causing that itch.
