Guess the CFP Top 25

I'm just curious how long voters will continue to prop up Cincy.

I mean their signature win is over a team that struggled mightily with FSU, Toledo and VT.

Going off committee criteria

1. Georgia
2. Michigan St
3. Cincinnati
4. Oklahoma
5. Alabama
6. Oregon
7. Ohio St
8. Michigan
9. Notre Dame
10. Wake Forest
11. Oklahoma St
12. Baylor
13. Auburn
14. Iowa
15. Texas A&M

19. Wisconsin
20. Pitt
21. Penn St
22. Iowa St
23. NC State
24. Fresno St
25. Houston
I'm using this one.

First off, it is not a playoff. It is an invitational.
Secondly, it is about money. Even undefeated, Wake Forest will not be invited.
Finally, the CFP committee will not put Cincy in the top 4 in the beginning, because if they win out, it will be somewhat tough to drop them.

1 Georgia
2 Oklahoma
3 Michigan State
4 Alabama
5 Oregon
6 Ohio State
7 Cincinnati
8 Wake Forest
9 Notre Dame
10 Michigan
11 Oklahoma State

Cinci won’t make the top 4

I only care to see how they'll screw Cincinnati and once again prove that playoff expansion would be the correct decision.

Yeah they will in these first rankings...but only with the committee's knowledge that they will continue to drop weekly EVEN IF WINNING by playing inferior opponents.

They are basically the 'elf on the shelf'. Fuck up and no Xmas for you.

Nope. They are wary of looking like ass with their hodgepodge of changing premises from week to week in past seasons. Cinci will start outside

Everyone here is all worried about Cincinnati except me. Know why? Because we are going to win out, we will be in the playoff and we will shock the world!

There appear to be openings in the Big 12. The Georgia Bulldogs would probably beat the Detroit Lions, but The Detroit Lions have the inside track to the Super Bowl (over Georgia).

You do remember how good Goff was in college right? Now surround him with 10 other players that were really good in college too. It would be massacre

Season yardage stats say there is a different #1. UM is the only team to really move the ball on our defense. The offense is more responsible for NDs points.
Sure, yardage wise they are up there and statistically the best rushing defense but I'm taking UGA. Easily the best RZ defense, better passing defense and forcing TO's. They also have given up way less TD's.

You have to beat the mighty Bulldogs and Leach to win out....not gonna happen. Maybe next year

UW is also #1 in total yardage I mourn the loss of JT more and more

Yeah their rushing defense is far better than rushing defense in the nation. Kinda crazy

...and it seems to be getting better. One of these days I am going to run them through a ranking algorithm I devised a couple years ago to see how they stack up. Georgia too. Georgia is in historical country as far as points allowed

1. UGA
2. Michigan St
3. Alabama
4. Oregon
5. Ohio St
6. Cincinnati
7. Oklahoma
8. Michigan
9. Oklahoma St
10. Wake Forest

UGA clear no. 1. MSU has one of the best wins to date. Bama is Bama. Have to have Oregon before tOSU, and tOSU has to show they can beat good teams ... they will have their chance. Cincy will be outside the top 4 so the committee has flexibility with how to handle them without dropping them out. OU has won against bad competition, and played poorly for the most part. Michigan will have to beat tOSU to have a chance. No one else really matters.
