Come on now - Comedy would be the success rate of Ohio State QB's in the NFL.
All I stated is he was one of the elite QB's of his era and nothing about being named the MVP of the Big 10, 3rd in the Heisman, being named All-American, 1st round NFL draft pick, 14 years in the NFL, with 10 years as a starter says anything different.
Everyone else is the one making it solely about the NFL and who was the best NFL QB's. I call those guys the NFL greats or Future HOF'ers (or in most cases, current HOF'er).

He's average at best by NFL standards. Of course he's "more elite" than some random college QB who never even made it to the league. But when talking NFL you go by NFL standards, not world standards.

The average career for a NFL QB is 4 years. Lasting 14 years means he did something right. Was he a NFL great? No. Was he even a top tier QB in the NFL? No. Was he a journeyman NFL QB? Yes. But any QB who starts multiple years at a major university, named MVP of their conference, finishes 3rd in the Heisman, named to All-American teams his senior year, drafted in the 1st round of the NFL draft, started 140 games in 14 years in the NFL is one of the elite QB's in that era.

Jim Harbaugh has less career TD passes than the likes of Steve Bartkowski, Jeff Blake and Chris Chandler.

It is a compilation of college and NFL. He had success in both. NOWHERE did i say he was one of the NFL greats at QB. I didn't call him a HOF'er. I said he was one of the elite QB's in his era, which consists of HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS of QB's. So even if he is considered the 20th best QB -- THAT is elite, when you are talking about 100's and 100's of QBs.

Harbaugh went to QBU in college. Fun fact- Harbaugh is the first Michigan QB to throw for a touchdown in the NFL. That’s a big reason why he is an elite of his era.I guess at least Harbaugh BARELY has more career TD passes than Mark Bulger, Chris Miller & Aaron Brooks.

Between the 8 guys coming from one of the premier CFB programs, they have less years at QB than Harbaugh did on his own. So as I said -- was he a NFL great? No. Was he an elite QB of his era? Yes.

Yea the quality of QB play in the league was pretty damn poor around that time. Outside of a few truly elite guys.

Once again who cares? Nobody, literally nobody is arguing on behalf of Ohio State QBs. You have no real defenses toward Harbaugh being a "elite QB" so all you do is fire at the schools people mocking you are fans of. Poor deflection tactics.
