Harbaugh

You should look up where Day's recruiting classes have finished each year he's been in Columbus. All year's are better than what JH has put together.A

Although gotta say I find it odd you think UofM owns this rivalry now because of one win in the last nine meetings.
As would be expected given Urban lead the team to a national title and was a perennial top 4 team not too long ago.

So, what I hear you saying is, Michigan didn't get better, Ohio State got worse...works for me.
I think it's both. I think Day is not Urban and that's startinng to show

And what exactly does Meyer have to do with Day putting together a top 5 recruiting class this year? Let's see how far you're willing to take your absurd homerism.

How many top 5 recruiting classes has JH put together since his return to ann arbor? None right? Day already has multiple.

Day kept the momentum in recruiting, and then got blown out by Michigan because he's not as good of coach.

Was Michigan that good, or was Ohio State having a down year? I know Michigan had a great season, but Ohio has not been the usual contender this go round.

Never have liked the guy, but he finally got over a big hurdle. Can he do it again though?

It's funny how you refuse to answer questions. So I'll ask again. How many top 5 recruiting classes has JH put together in ann arbor?

You keep saying Day's not a good coach. What's JH's record vs. Ohio State? What's his record vs. all ranked teams? Why did it take him seven years to finally win the conference?

I know you won't answer any of these questions, it's what you do. You probably think JH is now an elite HC.

Thumping your chest because a better, more experience & hungrier UofM team finally won a game in the rivalry. Homer on, it's your specialty.

Jim is 1-1 vs Ryan Day

Urban got whooped by Purdue once. Your logic is nonexistent.

About 65% Michigan being solid, 35% Ohio St having a young QB & their defense sucking.

I thought Stroud looked fine especially with how much pressure Michigan was able to generate, but he did get some phenomenal catches from his receivers.

OSU may have had a "down year" from what they've been doing since 2014, but they're still 3rd in SRS and 2nd in SP+ (FWIW, SP+ projected them for 9.7 wins this year). I think their D is good but just never adjusted to Michigan running outside after running inside earlier in the game. Michigan OL dominated

I don't think that's true. Stroud was fine, and their OL is not young and they have 2-3 NFL WR's that are upperclassmen. Defensively, maybe..I'm not sure what their breakdown is like on defense.

By mNb09's odd logic JH is 1-1 vs. Ohio State. Those other 4 losses somehow don't count in his bizarro world. No wonder he truly thinks all of JH's losses to ranked teams don't count towards his career coaching numbers.

My respect for the guy went from nil to really high. Yeah, like the OP, actually happy for the guy. I'd have never believed it.

LOL @ ellupo and Wamu in this thread. They ain't havin' it!

The average cfb fan's respect for Jim Harbaugh right now: 10
The average cfb fan's respect for Urban Meyer right now: 0

Back to reality for Michigan next year

most of the OL is gone and Hutchinson/Ojabo are gone (their whole monster pass rush this year)

This year was pretty much the perfect storm for him to finally "break through". I'll put the chances of them recreating this next year at <10%. The main core was a mesh of super seniors and guys who took 3+ years to finally produce. Maybe again in 4/5 years.

So you're gonna ignore JH's real record vs. Ohio State (1-5) and pretend he's 1-1 vs. the Buckeyes? No surprise there.
I said Harbaugh is 1-1 vs Day. This is a fact, you don't like facts?
