"how is it the first Monday in November?" morning thread

Awful sports weekend. Outside of the HS alma mater winning in the Indiana playoffs, everyone else lost. The step kids school is out of the Ohio playoffs after getting whipped. Michigan continues to embarrass and will lose to IU next weekend. 49ers got whipped by the Seachickens as well. Next weekend is finally the SIL's wedding so all that shit can be over with.

It's a little more than possible. If you drive by/through Cincinnati, you drove by

i can't even tell you route we took, we just followed GPS, and it doesn't match route I drove because we at one point were driving south which seeemed confusing, but time schedule matched exactly what I expected. We turned off just before Dayton, not sure why GPS thought that was best way to go, but looking at map we swung through 71? I don't know

I can say I have ruled out all indiana and southern ohio as places to ever live in

Not enough "lakes"?

Don't blame you there. If I wasn't born here, I probably wouldn't live here either. Though the fall is the best time for NE Indiana/NW Ohio followed closely by spring. Summer and winter are the absolute worst in this area.

indiana combined worst of Iowa and Wisconsin

Ohio was awfully rural

and so many semis...so many

how many times i got stuck behind those fuckers dueling with .25 mph difference and needed several miles to pass

actually we went through Mason since I think that is where big tennis thing. Weird route for GPS to take us IMO, not way I would've mapped out

i'm trying convince my nephew when he graduates to get out of midwest. If you don't do it while you're young you rarely ever leave until retirement

I went to the local hospital and it took maybe a half hour to get done.

had to make an appointment the day before though.
How long did it take to get results? I hate the conundrum of, if I wait too long to get it, I might not have results before the trip

but if I do it really early, that’s more time I could hypothetically catch it after the test but before the trip

"But you never even left your home state, Uncle Pnk"

How much do you really care about the health of your friends?

I'd have @RoyMunson send you some "walk your way to a better life" literature, but I'm not sure if it was written for someone that tied themselves to 10 boulders.

I need to hit the lottery so I can be a modern nomad when the season changes and the kids are all grown. Spend winter in Central Cali, spring in Central Kansas, summer in NE Michigan, and fall back around here.
