Recently got a younger boss and the dude is a walking shitshow.

He doesn't know shit and when asked a question he doesn't know, he panics into buzzword generator mode and dips.

It's funny but kinda scary that my ability to feed my family depends on this guy not completely flaming out and taking competent people down with him.

My boss is the 4th generation owner & he was brought up in the business. Good guy that takes care of his employee's & business. His son sits right next to him at a separate desk in their office. Soaking it up like a sponge.

Young guys can learn a lot if they'd just listen
 
He's pretty decent. Easy to get along with. Doesn't put up with BS, and 2 years away from retirement.

Not as good as my old boss that got promoted. He's one of my best friends. I partied with him on Saturday.

He's one of those young guys that already knows everything.
 
I’ve had all manner of bosses, from the inspiring, to the cartoony angry, to absent to empty suit. The current guy is pretty good, the CSO who lets me alone and takes the political fight. We have different skill sets and it’s pretty much impossible for me to move up in this company; he knows this and leaves me alone unless he wants me to present to the board or something.

Mine is a good guy. He and his brother run the show, but he’s pretty chill. I meet with him once a week and other than that, he pretty much leaves me alone.

My boss is younger as well. They think they know everything. But I just keep doing my job and whooping everyone’s ass. They stay out of my way
 
I only ever had one boss that was a jackass but he didn't last long. Working at the refinery in the Engineering bldg. was a close knit group of engineers and designers....if you didn't fit in, it didn't take long to expose that fact.
 
My boss is kind of absent-minded sometimes, but she is the best boss I have ever heard. Someone I actually enjoy working with/for.
