the more i think about this, the dumber i think this decision is
it's his life and he can do whatever he wants. I think most people would acknowledge that.
1.) He had one good year at Wake. It should be mentioned that Wake plays a pretty non-traditional offense. It would have been beneficial for Newman to showcase his talent in a pro-style offense such as UGA's.
2.) Newman played in a historically awful ACC last year and on the rare occasion he did play against a top tier opponent, he didn't fare too well.
3.) i've just never been impressed with pure passing ability. I thought his real strength was throwing bombs to a surprisingly great WR corps at Wake. His intermediate passing ability could use a LOT of work.
