I’m officially an old man

When you spent your teenage years and most of your 20’s never thinking you’d see 30, 30 is old
In my teens I thought my father and uncles were fossils because they were in their mid 40's, now someone that age is a kid

See, I remember those. Bring up party lines and I’ll be impressed
We never had a party line, but I do remember only having to dial 5 numbers to call someone else in Manchester. There was only 2 exchanges at the time and both started with 62 (622 & 623) so you didn't have to use them. It wasn't till I was 9 or 10 that the phone company added the 668, 669 and 624 exchanges and we had to dial all 7 numbers.

Keep in mind that at that time calling a town 8 miles away was considered long distance and cost extra.
